Assamese Girl Rewati Chetri Enters Femina Miss India 2015 Final Round

Rewati Chetri, a Gorkha girl from Haflong made it in to the top 1o finalists of the  prestigious Femina Miss India 2015 contest concluded on 28th March 2015 at Mumbai. She also won Miss Popular and Miss Multimedia titles. An LLB student of NEF Law College of Guwahati, Rewati was the sole candidate from entire North East India.

Earlier, at just 18, this young lady with a divine smile, brimming with confidence, was becoming fan’s favourite to win the title. In the final round, when Firoz Nadiadwala asked her, “How do you define success?”, Rewati’s reply was “Success is where I want to see myself in what I do the best.”
Born to Baburam Chetri a Govt. of Assam employee and Mrs. Bina Chetri a successful home maker on   4th of July 1993 at Haflong – the lone hill station of the state in Dima Hasao District of Assam. She completed her schooling from St. Agnes’ Convent High School, Haflong, graduated from Lumding College, Lumding there after opted career in law and is a LLB student NEF Law College Guwahati.

On the other hand, one of the heavy crowd favourites, Aditi Arya won the crown of Miss India World 2015, who will now represent India at Miss World 2015. Following  Aditi, Aafreen Vaz won the crown of Miss India International 2015 who will now represent India at Miss International 2015 and Vartika Singh won the crown of Miss India Grand International 2015 who shall represent India at Miss Grand International 2015.
